Да, я вас понимаю. В этом что-то есть и мне кажется это очень отличная мысль. Полностью с Вами соглашусь....

Next in our series of open discussions about philosophy in film is the classic, The Seventh Seal directed by Ingmar Bergman.....

The members of the club had a really informative discussion on this film. One point I failed to mention is how the unique social paradigm (or pressure) behind the debate on a divine authority is itself a true challenge to the epistemological structures that bind a society. No matter what position an individual takes on a divine entity that supposedly presides over and influences our actions, it is that very dialogue (preferably open) that brings awareness to our very own social ties and relations. So, should the question be a matter of what we know (about ourselves in a social context), rather than what we believe (regarding the hidden structures of the world) that may better enrich our social and political relations? Personally, if the question regarding God and spirituality is unable to address issues pertaining to our social affairs (versus metaphysical), then I fail to see the philosophical import of contentions arising over differences of faith and belief. However, the issue is arguably greater than the limited context by which I perceive it.

Great discussion overall, and I look forward to the next movie night!
